The one thing that bugged me about the first game was that each map was always the same experience every time I played. Aragami 2's release date is now set for September 17, when it will arrive on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4. Which may sound boring, but I think is a bit of an improvement. There's also going to be Rescues, Item Retrieval etc. It's not always going to be kill, kill, kill. For PC on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled Honey Select 2 is coming to Steam. They're also going to be reusing Maps for different missions, which I'm a little bit skeptical of, but to use a Map multiple times for different styles of missions may add replayability and keep it interesting. There seems to be a lot of replayability in terms of 'collectables' and in-game currency that you use to buy armours, swords and dyes, all of which are purely cosmetic though. I feel that the first game was severely underrated, and that the release of Aragami 2 (and its massive improvements on the first title) is flying under a lot of peoples radars. I don't know if developers would comment on a game that's yet to be released. It has a planned release date for the 17th of September, yet there doesnt seem to be much buzz surrounding it, considering how close it is to being on our screens. What do you think? Are people not aware of this game's impending release, or are they simply not interested? I will, however, make a prediction that although it's not on everybody's lips at the moment Aragami 2 is going to sneak up on a lot of people, and once they're aware of it's presence, it's going to be difficult for the new title to remain in the shadows. It is very much an Indie title, and perhaps the quality and price tag will reflect that, but I feel that there should be a little bit more hype than the current amount, which is seemingly none. The original Aragami sold 700k copies and helped grow Lince Works as a studio, the developer said in a release today, meaning Aragami 2 is now the work of a more experienced and larger team.
