Valid Drivers License to operate company vehicle.

Massachusetts Grade II Industrial Wastewater License.

Massachusetts Second Class Engineers License required.

Must be able to work effectively individually and with a group of other operators and technicians.

Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to operate all Vicinity production equipment and associated auxiliaries.

Must have the ability to distinguish between different shades of color and transcribe numbers accurately.

Keep work areas clean and orderly and maintain safe working conditions.

Schedule and coordinate fuel oil deliveries to specific tanks.

Coordinates the Auxiliary Operators daily duties.

Adds or shuts down boilers and auxiliaries as needed to maintain system reliability and efficiency.

Determine appropriate loading of equipment.Uses all hand and power tools to maintain / repair equipment. All activities covered under Control Operator.This position is a member of the Bargaining Unit Member of the IUOE, Local 877. This is a full- time hourly position, reporting to the Plant Supervisor in Boston, MA. Operate and maintain plant equipment to assure system requirements are within specification.
